Product Benefits: The Hibermate sleep mask is a super-comfortable, luxury eye mask with removable ear muffs especially designed to be slept with. It makes a great gift! The ear muffs – a classic donut – are made from flexible, medical grade silicone. The Hibermate mask features 2 very soft and easy to adjust 12mm (1/2 inch) bands for easier adjustability, the straps will NEVER lose their ‘stretchiness’ and are designed to help the mask and cups to stay in place all night long. Note: The straps may need to be adjusted when first worn (Instructions included) and it may cause some discomfort if you sleep on your side for extended periods, it’s better suited for back or front sleepers. Great if you’re travelling, meditating (sitting upright) or resting (lying down). Helpful if you’re a shiftworker, or about to travel, or simply if you’re trying to sleep in noisy environments. Please note, although more comfortable, the Hibermate is not as effective at reducing noise as ear plugs or industrial, hard plastic ear muffs. It’s IMPORTANT when wearing the ear cups to try and ensure they’re sealed against your skin (the ear muffs should rest with (comfortable) pressure). If you have long or thick hair, try and place the cups underneath your hair as best you can. Like on all ear muffs, cups placed over thick hair will let lots of sound through. We’ve tried to strike a balance between comfort and sound blocking with the Hibermate! All aspects of the new Hibermate mask have been proudly conceived by USA & Australian design partners.
