The First Voice FAP51-Cel is a first aid kit with a roll-up bag, prepackaged first aid supplies, and a blood clotting agent. The blood clotting agent in this first aid kit agent can help control arterial bleeding, generates almost no increase in heat during clotting, has been tested to work on blood as cool as 56 degrees F, and is cleared by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for use on blood containing heparin or warfarin. This first aid kit has a roll-up bag that is made of nylon for durability and water resistance, and has 15 storage pockets made of clear plastic to facilitate the visual identification of first aid supplies. The roll-up bag in this first aid kit has handles and an adjustable clasp closure to facilitate transport and the addition of first aid supplies (sold separately). This first aid kit has been assembled to comply with American National Standard Institute (ANSI) Z308.1 minimum requirements for workplace first aid kits and supplies.
First aid kits are used to help provide basic medical treatment to a sick or injured person until a minor medical complaint, such as a small cut, is resolved, or until full medical services are available. First aid kits are typically made up of one or more enclosed containers and a variety of first aid supplies. First aid containers come in many forms such as bags, backpacks, soft or semi-rigid cases, and rigid boxes. The containers are used to hold and to help organize the first aid supplies. First aid supplies may include bandages, dressings, topical ointments, antiseptics, ice packs, personal protective equipment, tools, and medical instruments, among others. First aid kits are commonly used in Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)-certified workplaces, office buildings, construction and industrial worksites, conference centers, and emergency response environments, among others.
Think Safe manufactures and distributes emergency first aid products, including First Voice Emergency Instruction Devices (EIDs) and Self-contained Emergency Treatment (SET) systems. The company, founded in 2004, is headquartered in Cedar Rapids, IA.
