The place is jam-packed with people all year. You can also find tons of shops on the side of the roads. So if you need to buy some souvenirs on your night walk through Soi Bangla, make sure you check them all out.

It’s basically a place to let loose and have fun. The bars and pubs have cheap beers that locals are enjoying. You can go and join them for a few drinks or hang out with your own group. You should play some silly games like beer pong while you’re there, right?

This club is perfect for people who love to sway to the beats of music as well since there is a discothèque inside the club. It’s located right along Soi Bangla Road. It’s a very popular club in Patong Beach. You can get Vegas vibes from this club because of its high-quality live DJ shows.

Any type of event can be hosted at this club. The sound equipment is of topnotch quality that makes you rock with the loud blasting music. The lighting inside is also on point that complements the atmosphere perfectly. Entrance to the club is free but the drinks inside can feel slightly more expensive compared to the local bars.

White Room Nightclub

This club is also located near Bangla Road, on Soi Gonzo. It’s not as big as many of the other nightclubs around but it’s just as popular, especially the youngsters. The sound and light system bounce off of each other to create the perfect nighttime experience for someone who just wants to have fun. It’s not too dark and the crowd attracted there is quite trendy. Entrance is free so you can check it out any day.

Hollywood Phuket

The name itself gives off a VIP vibe, doesn’t it? The club can be found at a beach by the Bangla Road. (Yes, as we mentioned, that’s where most of these parties take place). The club is loved by the locals and you will too once you step foot inside. The name has been changed a few times but eventually, the original name stuck. The club is known for having great parties all night long so it’s evident how much the party animals adore the spot.

Muay Thai

Have you seen the movie Ong-Bak? It’s what brought a lot of eyes into the Thai martial practice, locally known as Muay Thai. Besides dancing and drinking, the action is another form of entertainment a lot of people look for. We’re talking about some authentic Thai martial arts presentation. You can check out these places if you want to witness some brutal but professional Muay Thai fights.

Patong Boxing Stadium

This venue is located right near Patong Beach, on a road called Sai Nam Yen Road. The place is popular among foreign visitors, tourists who became a fan of Muay Thai after witnessing Tony Ja on screen and are craving for some real-life action. The fighters are both locals and foreigners so you can get a touch of variety in this dangerously beautiful form of art.

The foreigners often lack the smoothness and effortless execution the Thai fighters bring to the ring, but they are all fun to watch. The fights at Patong Boxing Stadium take place every Monday and Thursday nights. They start at 9 PM and last till the early morning.

Bangla Muay Thai Boxing Stadium

Bangla Muay Thai Boxing Stadium can also be found near the Patong Beach, located on Ratautit Road. Among all the other fighting venues, this is the most famous one. The fights are mostly fought by bringing international fighters from all over the world. You can still find some local fighters among them but the international level fighting is what people go there for.

Fights take place on every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. They start at 9 PM. Since the fighters are mostly international, the place has an elite vibe. So yes, the tickets are a bit costly.

Phuket Stadium Saphan Hin

This venue is located on the south side of Phuket. If you want to avoid the international fighters beating each other and just want to witness some traditional Muay Thai fights, this is the place for you.

It’s not so hyped may feel a little rusty. But the fights there are considered to be more authentic than anywhere else. The fights there take place every Friday at 10 PM. The ticket price is also quite low. It’s not divided into categories, just the entrance fee which is 450 THB. 

Phuket Stadium Saphan Hin

Beach

No matter in which part of the world you travel, beaches are something everyone is fond of. Whether it’s to take a lazy walk or to have a picnic, a beach is never out of style.

Kata Beach 

Loved by the tourists and the locals, it’s a very popular place for families to spend their weekends or holidays at. The white sand of the beach along with the deep blue water of the sea creates a scenic view that can put any restless mind at peace. Kata beach is less crowded than Patong, which is considered to be the national beach of Phuket.

Nai Yang 

Nai Yang is another one of those less crowded beaches where you can enjoy some quiet moments. There are some homey restaurants and bars located right on the sandy portion. There are also a few expensive resorts resting on Nai Yang. If you need a beach where you won’t be overwhelmed with the presence of too many people, then this is the perfect spot.

Patong

As we mentioned above, it’s the national beach of Phuket. It’s the most popular beach of the island where people are seen swarming along its 2.5 kilometers long area. The beach is always packed with people no matter which season it is.

Patong is a favorite for not just the tourists, but the locals as well. Even if you tend to avoid crowded places, we recommend visiting this beach at least once. Otherwise, your true journey of experiencing Phuket will be incomplete.
